About Peter Stuyvesant Little League
|
The Peter Stuyvesant Little League, chartered with Little League Baseball 60 years ago, has over 700 children playing baseball/softball in a safe, secure environment. The children range in age from 5 to 16 years of age. Our boundary, as set by Little League Baseball, is between 14th and 72nd Streets and between the FDR Drive and Fifth Avenue.
The PSLL stress teamwork, sportsmanship and commitment. Players should not miss games unless absolutely necessary. Parents, its your responsibility to support the league in this matter. Not attending a game lets your teammates down and your manager & coach undermanned. Please get your kids to the game early and ready to play.
Please read the waivers that apply to the PSLL. You must live within the boundaries as set forth by Little League Baseball (no exceptions); you must adhere to the age cutoff dates (no exceptions). Do not forget to check where you will volunteer a minimum of 6 hours. Should you not be able to, or chose not to volunteer a $100.00 will be added to your application. New players to the League will be required to produce a copy of their birth certificate to be kept on file in the League office.
Ask yourself.... as a volunteer have I done my fair share? The league asks for parents to do six hours of volunteer work. If you have not done so, please contact a Board Member to see where your services can be utilized. |
